Form Pilot는 FDC, FPT, JPG, BMP. TIF, PNG등의 이미지 파일을 불러와서 그 이미지위에 글을 쓰거나 다른 방법으로 수정/편집해서 PDF 포맷 혹은 이미지 포맷으로 저장이 가능하게 해주는 프로그램입니다.

어떠한 전자 형태를 가지고 있는 포맷이라도 raster image로 바꿔줄수 있으며, 그 내용을 수정하거나 본문위에 그래픽 이미지등을 첨부할수 있게 해줍니다. 암호형태의 PDF 파일로 저장이 가능하기 때문에 암호를 모르는 다른 사람들로 부터 PDf 파일을 보호할수 있습니다.
프린트 방식과 팩스 보내기 방식, 이메일 보내기 방식의 3가지를 모두 지원하기 때문에 만들어진 내용을 바로 원하는 방식으로 출력하실수 있습니다. 다양한 인쇄 용지의 지원도 가능합니다.
또한 스캐너 기능을 지원하기 때문에 문서나 이미지들을 스캔 받아서 PDF 파일이나 이미지 파일로의 저장도 가능합니다. 물론 스캔 받은 이미지위에 글을 입력하거나 하는 여러가지 작업들도 가능합니다.
Home, Pro, Office의 3가지 버전으로 제공되며, Home 버전의 경우에는 Scanning, Printing, Filling out pre-printed forms, Spell-checking, Edit previously saved forms, Export to image formats: BMP, TIFF, JPG, PNG, PCX , Import from image formats: BMP, TIFF, JPG, PNG, PCX 기능만 지원을 하며, 프로 버전의 경우에는 Home 버전의 기능에 멀티 기능과 Pdf 변환이 가능합니다. Office 버전의 경우에는 PDF, DOC, XLS, TXT등 인쇄가 가능한 다양한 포맷을 지원하고 추가적인 여러가지 강력한 기능을 제공합니다.
